About Us
With a commitment to young children and the drive to guide the next generation of learners, owners Tracey, Charity, and Leonard brought 20 years of early educational experience to launch Teaching Children Learning Academy (TCLA) in 2021.
Having grown up in The Cathedral of Love Christian Academy (COLCA) in Willingboro, New Jersey, the trio benefited from academic excellence in a culture of love and spiritual values. They’ve combined the principles and teachings passed down to them with innovative ideas to accelerate your child’s early development and help them solidify an unbreakable cognitive, social, physical, and academic foundation.

State-Of-The Art Learning Materials For A Headstart
A Blended & Research-Backed Curriculum For Deep Learning
Teachers intertwine activities from the research-backed Creative Curriculum® and a child-led Montessori-inspired approach to deliver the deep learning your child needs to build the cognitive, practical, and school skills to succeed in their next steps.
A Delicious, Diverse, & State-Approved Food Program To Nourish Your Child
For lunch, chicken-alfredo over pasta, with mixed vegetables, orange slices, and milk is just one example of our colorful plates. While snack remains healthy and fun with options like fruit cups & apple sauce, popcorn, vegan-based sweets, and multigrain crackers. We understand that what comes out within a child’s development is based on what goes into a child’s development and for us food is very much a part of that process.
Our facility is pork and nut FREE, focusing on alternative approaches to fan favorites like spaghetti and “chicken” meatballs, or Turkey frank’s n beans. While we do our best to serve the needs of a diverse group of children we understand if parents have special dietary needs, in which case we encourage them to provide their child with their specific lunch. We’ve curated our program in alignment with the New Jersey Food Program for Schools and Families, making sure that taste meets nutritional value in every balanced meal.
